The Reef is a sculpture created as part of a larger sculpture garden for the 2023 Art Basel show. Constructed from Squarqles, a transparent and colorful plastic children’s toy, the piece evokes an immersive oceanic atmosphere. An interactive wind-chime element invites viewers to engage playfully, sparking memories of childhood curiosity and the creative wonder that inspired the toy itself.
